Hero Switches

My Wildtrak hero switch bank has the empty space where the sta-bar disconnect button would be on a First Edition or a Badlands. Has anyone swapped out their stock hero switches with the one that comes stock on the FE or the Badlands? I'm just curious to see if the functionality of the buttons would be the same minus the sta-bar disconnect button.

what? not sure I understand. You want to swap out the switches BUT The sway bar disconnect would not do anything as the wildtrak does not have the hardware.

I mean technically it would be plug and play and drop in. The hero switches are referred to as SIMA (Switch Input Module A). Since it just has basically power and CAN I would imagine that there won’t be any errors or issues. It can’t enable something that doesn’t exist but it itself doesn’t define what exists. Might be able to get the SBD to light up which would be a fun trick

I'll be missing a few buttons (MT BD) so I'm hoping the missing space seems more planned/useful. I like BrentC's use of space. I've already started eyeballing different things. Just have to see...

That is a reasonable idea although "switches" may only be "switch" as in singular. I didn't know the space was for a switch, thought maybe (but dies not fit) meant for keyfob and my complaint is its too small for my ez-pass which I move between vehicles
