Wife borrowed the Bronco and casually left this for me to find while vacuuming tonight. I didn’t look real hard but anyone know what it is and where from?

I can't read it from the photo, but that looks like a part # on the back -- Google it and see what you get.

I’m not sure where that goes off hand. But if you get a clear picture of the engineering number on there, I may be able to cross reference it.

Parts like that don't break off by themselves but if the Receiving end for the tabs is somehow broken you might have a warranty issue

I recommend your wife does a week-long internship at a reputable detail shop before continuing her maintenance of your ride. She should do better. Let us know how that suggestion goes!

Ya, my guess is the latter, which I’ll bring up to her …but worded simply as a suggestion of course. Haha

Good call to check the door side before reinserting though. The tabs on the cover appeared just fine but I’m not sure why it would do that now. Took delivery about a year and a half back with no issue before so I’m hoping it’s just a freak thing.

Ya, her maintenance of my ride is to drive it with top off and enjoy all the stares. The MIC top off that is.
And while I agree there needs to be corrective action taken, I do enjoy staying married. Most days at least.
