Did you have to modify the fronts to allow for the Tube Step intrusion?
They are so thin it doesn't matter. The flaps are actually bolted to the end cap of the board.

Super easy. Seriously will take you ten minutes
Ok awesome. Since it adheres with the sticky tape, have you had any concerns of it coming off over time? I have the hood deflector that's getting installed this weekend, so that's obviously the process.

Just make sure you clean the area well and use some alcohol prep pads which are included. I have no worries as my f150 and my bronco have double sided tape hood deflectors and I have no issues with either. You would be surprised how much stuff is held on cars with tape.

I imagine they’re giving me an extra layer of protection. The thing I’m most enjoying about the running boards, though, is how much they’re saving the outside edge of my driver’s side seat from getting smashed down. Literally, one of the things I hate the most is how that edge gets smashed down in almost every vehicle I’ve owned, from me sliding my fat 🍑 out the door. With the OBX, my standard vehicular exit procedure is: right hand grabs the frame over the door, and left foot goes out on the running board as I hoist myself up and out, thus keeping those choice leather seats in symmetrical condition. 😁😁😁
lol I feel this, not fat, but not tall either. I gotta slide on the edge of the seat to get in.

Doesnt help that its too cold to apply the sill gaurds so I refuse to put my foot on the painted sill as a step yet.

Use a hair dryer to warm up the sill and the sill guard and you can apply it with no issues.

If they help, I’d hate to know how bad it is without them. I feel like mine is always throwing rocks. I’m contemplating mud flaps up front

Just installed OEM running boards with OEM mud flaps. I did pull the cap off and cut 1.75 inch off each of the running boards. I then cut off all the plastic slip tabs

on the cap except the center rear one. If fits perfectly back on and snug. I just drilled one hole in the back of the running board and used a metal screw. Easy fix.

Close up pics please. Are you happy with the performance of the stock OEM mud flaps?
