I have a 2021 Wildtrak so, that has the Sasquatch package and it comes with the Good Year 35 inch LT 315/70R17 tires.
I have done research but I'm not a tire guy.
I live where there is snow for at least 4 months and it can get heavy and slick.
Are the tires I have good enough for a heavy winter?
If not, what would you recommend?
Thanks for the input

Switch them out for a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks in 32" size. Rule of thumb where we get average 100" snow is a narrower tire will not ride on top of the snow but will actually have more contact with solid ground. Had a set with the embedded glass in lieu of studs on a fwd Grand Prix and was unstoppable even compared to the 535xi after it

I'd also get a set of front crash bars if going to a 32" tire, better to be safe than sorry and probably limit damage if you slide into something.

The most recommended all terrain/winter tire I got from asking around here in MN was the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. They carry the 3 peak snow/winter rating. I don't have any personal experience on snow with them yet because I took delivery in mid April. IMO, they ride well on road and are a good looking tire.

I like the Yokohama AT-X, in 35 x 12.5." These are on 18" wheels... but are the same for 17" wheels.
