That is a lin bus tap,
No, he is tapping into the medium speed CAN, not the LIN network.

I still don't think this would work, but regardless, the Medium speed CAN bus wires he tapped into you can find in a bunch of different places on the vehicle.
Here is a list of modules on the MS-CAN:
RTM, SODL, SODR, DDM, PDM, HVAC and the TRM

The DDM is probably the easiest in this case. Here is a picture of where it is located.

Was driving earlier so i was being short. but i've seen a obd tap on a gen 2 raptor that did the same thing, read the canbus and the lin trigger for highbeams. i'm guessing the electronics will have some similiarity between the latest gen f150 and the bronco, and hope this would work.

i mean easiest would be to have a company make a highbeam linbus decoder of sorts that sends out a useable trigger.

Well hopefully you get it to work. I know there have been a few people inquiring about how to have the high beams trigger other lights also. Make send and update after you try it out.
