Yesterday when picking my daughter up from school, I got the Hillstart Assist Not Available warning, I also feel like there was a Stabilitrak message as well, but Fordpass only shows the Hillstart warning.

Today, I tried replicating the same actions as yesterday, and I got the Hillstart warning once again.

Steps to repeat:
Park and turn off ignition
Stay in Bronco, don't open doors or roll down windows
Radio turns off after 10 minutes
5 minutes later it sounds like the e-brake engages
Restart Bronco a few minutes later, warning pops up. Brake indicator is on.

Engage e-brake manually, then disengage e-brake turns brake light off and Warning is apparently gone, though I may have cleared the onscreen warning by pushing ok.

For reference: 4 door Wildtrak with Lux, 1600 miles

I had the same thing happen under identical circumstances. I was taking a call in the car and turned off the ignition. Went to start it up and same thing.

I haven't tried it yet, but I assume simply opening the door before starting will help with this. Guess I'll let my dealer know if/whenever I take it in next.

So stopping the Bronco and restarting it 15 min later gives you a warning message ? That's not right...

Yes, if you don't get out of the Bronco or open the doors.
