Will the hood be too tall to pull down for a shorter person? Or if you pull on the side of the hood will it be too stiff? I have no experience with hood struts.

Will the hood be too tall to pull down for a shorter person? Or if you pull on the side of the hood will it be too stiff? I have no experience with hood struts.
The hood could be to high for some, but you should be able to pull the hood down from the side without a problem. The struts aren't that tight.

The hood could be to high for some, but you should be able to pull the hood down from the side without a problem. The struts aren't that tight.
I wonder why Ford didn’t add these from the factory? Risk of the hood flying open on rough roads?

I think I'm in, although they look like they are at a significant angle. Wonder what pressure that is putting on them and life expectancy...
