Will the Hoss 3.0 package improve on road performance (i.e., softer ride) or make the ride stiffer?

On road performance is NOT the goal here...

However the newer broncos do have a rear swaybar which will improve handling and reduce body roll.

Also a rear swaybar does allow for slightly softer springs generally.

The biggest difference I'm guessing will be in how the shocks are able to dampen bigger bumps easier, and this could allow the factory to use a tad less preload on the springs. (And maybe even shorten the bump stops a tad)I'm wishing and hoping this package includes the slightly longer, ranger raptors UCAs and LCAs (with same or similar fox shocks) These have been in production in Thailand for several years!

It is a significant improvement under all conditions.

Thank you for the responses. I ordered before the 2023 model price and adding the feature moved the base price by $1,750, in addition to the upgrade fee for the Hoss 3.0. I don't think it is worth it.

That's not how it works. There is a rebate involved. If you are already a Wildtrak order and not changing your package (LUX/HIGH/MID) you will supposedly get a rebate for the difference between the MY22 pricing and MY22.5 pricing that pops up on the DORA after its changed. It's not confirmed, but that is how it is supposed to work, I guess.

Thank you for the intel. I'll try again and specifically ask the dealer about the rebate.

My back and forth with my dealer:

Granted, Ford can change tomorrow how this works, and my dealer could have been wrong. But the consensus on the site, seems to agree with the rebate situation as my dealer replied.

Anyone heard when production begins for Wildtraks with the HOSS 3.0 option? I had read summer but wanted to see if an actual date was published.

I'm hoping summer (June/July) and that scheduling sucks up some HOSS orders to get the "new thing" out to showcase for MY23 order banks to open. Nothing concrete though.

There's at least one order with the HOSS 3.0 that has a window sticker for the April 4th build week

I'm just wondering if people will still be snapping tie-rods.

Snapping tie rods? The HOSS package includes the upgraded heavy duty rack & pinion and tie rods.
The question; is ~30% stronger tie rods strong enough? Aftermarket solutions provide larger diameters and wall thicknesses. I would prefer a factor of 2 or 3 on strength. Broncos aren't going to outer space so ~10lbs+ of weight won't be a problem.

I added the HOSS 3.0 and my scheduled build week is 5/16. Hope that helps answer your question.
