HOSS 3.0 suspension ride quality review

I just received our long awaited Wildtrak last night with the new Hoss 3.0 package. I was extremely surprised how smooth it drove, and it's actually comparable to the ride on our Gen3 Raptor with the 37 package! This is a 2 door with such a small wheel base and i didn't imagine it would ride as good and smooth as it does. It soaks up road imperfections without any body motion. The only time i notice the shorter wheel base is over the bigger and longer road depressions where the rear end drops in when the front end is coming out of it. A friend of mine has the 4 door Wildtrak with the standard suspension and it does ride great, but i wouldn't compare it the ride of a Raptor.

If you are on the fence on if the Hoss 3.0 package is worth it.... get it!!

Now if i can tame some of the wind noise I'll be set.

Can attest to 4 dr with HOSS being crazy smooth ride. Did a high speed dirt road and handling was amazing soaking up washboard with ease!

funny i am comparing this ride to a Gen 3 raptor with 37s and not a jeep! They have this suspension completely dialed in!

i guess experience's will vary? This a pic of my daily that i am comparing it to. Tires on the Raptor are set at 36 psi, and on the Bronco they show 37psi.

I would agree with you on the HOSS 3.0 ride. It is so smooth and much better body control than the Bilsteins. I don't really feel many imperfections at all.

tires on pickup were 47psi, i reduced to 37 and ride was significantly better!

What is your tire pressure at? Mine is at 39psi on my HOSS 3.0

I wonder if that is why your ride is not as good? just curious. It is all in what you are used to and I am coming from a sporty ride in my EDGE ST.

Running 35, reduced now to 32 to try it out.

Um, sorry to interrupt, but I’m gonna need some more info with pics on that Gen 1 Raptor you’ve got there, sir. That’s a sweet setup! Don’t recall ever seeing a BD light bar inset into the front valence like that.
