Sounds like an awesome trip. Iām loving my 2 dr Sasquatch. Ouray huh. On my bucket list to return there In my new Bronco.10,000 mile update.
I had to go to Las Vegas to work a convention for a couple of days. I talked my wife into driving out there with me. Grand Canyon, Some national forest trails in the snow and Hoover dam. Put her on a plane in Vegas. And then worked the show for two days and had my daughter fly in to ride back with me through various places I have heard about but never seen
Nellis Sand dunes
Grafton ghost town
Zion National park hiked Angels Landing
Bryce Canyon
Camped on BLM land near Moab
Hit 2 different trails in Moab 1 easy 1 moderate
Then on to Telluride,Ouray and skied in Aspen the last day of the trip before heading home.
Badlands four door Sasquatch MIC top towing package 2.7 automatic
The Bronco performed flawlessly had zero problems so far. Handled all of the terrrain with ease although I did not hit some of the more difficult trails. One I was by myself and two I had to drive 1500 miles to get back home. The Nellis Sanduneās and the one moderate trail in Arches national Park seemed pretty difficult for me being from Texas and not used to doing any rock crawling. My daughter was scared to death and didnāt think we were going to get out of there.
I averaged 18.6 miles per gallon using 91 octane. On several tanks of gas I averaged over 20 miles per gallon when we were not going into a headwind or steep mountains. Also note that my Bronco was completely loaded to the gills with camping and fishing gear
My only complaint would be that going into a headwind driving 80 mph you do get a significant amount of wind noise coming through the windows
Overall Iām amazed that you can drive a vehicle that is so comfortable over 4000 miles and handle some fairly difficult terrain with ease and having zero problems driving home
Sorry I did not take any videos. Here are a few pictures
Unfortunately almost all the 4 x 4 trails in Colorado were closed this time of year. Looking to go back in the summer. My wife decided she like it so much sheās keeping it so I have ordered a two door e.g. Sasquatch standard transmission.Sounds like an awesome trip. Iām loving my 2 dr Sasquatch. Ouray huh. Was on a trip with my brother probably late 70ās. We pulled into Ouray and it was snowing lightly. I fell in love. Also Durango and Silverton. Howdy Richard, Thank you for your service and sacrifices. Hope to see you at the meet ups.Adding my name to the list.
Hi, I'm Richard. Disabled Navy Vet. Moving from Toyota Tundra Limited TRD to a Bronco Wildtrak. Excited to get into it and drive it around and meet up with other Houston locals and take em off road where they belong!
when was it shipped and what was the rail car number? Finally tracked the rail car to Pearland! Arrived there at 1:50am this morning. Now the question is how long before it gets unloaded and delivered to my dealer....
TTGX982305 Not sure when it left MAP. Around 3/2-3/5.when was it shipped and what was the rail car number?
Mine has been stuck there since 3/7 and counting. What's concerning is that I received an email from Ford saying it was delivered to my dealer but they said it hasn't. They got in touch with the rail yard and they stated it hasn't been released by Ford to ship. Finally tracked the rail car to Pearland! Arrived there at 1:50am this morning. Very odd. What does the tracker tell you when you put in your VIN? BTW, I have not received an email yet about delivery. Last one I got from Ford was the assembly line pic.Mine has been stuck there since 3/7 and counting. Tracker doesn't work anymore because it says the vehicle was already delivered. I called the Bronco help line today and their system says delivered. The specialist warned me that after 10 days of delivery dealers can take over the order. I'm going to try and see if I can talk to the railyard and validate that the car is actually there and not the dealer trying to scam me.Very odd.
