So I think I have my first warranty issue. Bronco occasionally shows Key Not Detected when starting the vehicle. I see there is a TSB on it. Bronco’s built before July 9 may experience the issue. So I’ll reach out to Tomball Ford and see what the fix is. Installing running boards on her today. Wife has trouble getting in and out LOL. Bought mud flaps that I will have to fabricate brackets to mount.

Running boards installed. Wife tested and approved! While mounting the boards I see a bracket I can fabricate something to mount my mud flaps. Will work on that next.

It was awesome. Drove to Hunt Texas and stayed in a VBRO cabin that backed up to the Guadalupe river. Left there Monday morning and drove to Junction Texas and had lunch. Then to Fredericksburg Texas and stayed in another VBRO. Then headed back Tuesday and stopped off in Roundtop to see some friends who have a store there. Bronco is a blast to drive. Averaged 19 mpg.

Sounds like a great time. I think my wife would really enjoy that. Have you gone topless much?

My first car was an 87 Wrangler. I pretty much always had my top off and ran a bikini top all the time. I ordered a canvas Bimini and plan on leaving the doors on for my daily use. I could see a soft top in the future for longer trips and just remove the windows most of the time.

Attended a small Bronco meet a week or so ago. Had the front two panels off. It was nice. Planning to build a device to remove and store the rear panels in the garage. Also plan to build a tool for assisting in removing the doors. Have a design in my head. Just need to get the materials and build it. Still need to clean out the garage. Still unpacking stuff from when we moved in a year ago LOL.
