Check for hurricane and flood damage

The vehicle you linked is a 2023, not the '24 you stated. You can likely get a leftover '23 for close to that price...

Also look at this disclosure in the ad and add $4500 to the price LOL:

"Prices do not include tax, tag, title, registration, any dealer-installed accessories, or dealer-provided benefits. Additional fees include a pre-delivery service fee of $899 a Private Tag Agency Fee of $189, Parks Plus Package of $2,995, and an Electronic Registration Filing Fee of $559.55, which charges represent costs and profits to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning, and adjusting vehicles, and preparing documents related to the sale. We strive to update our inventory regularly, but there may be a delay between the sale of a vehicle and inventory updates. Prices, specifications, and availability are subject to change without notice. Pricing includes all applicable manufacturer incentives and may not be combined with other exclusive offers. All advertised prices are for in-stock units only and include all applicable dealer, manufacturer discounts and incentives. Some offers and incentives require financing through the Manufacturer Captive Lender, subject to approved credit. Please contact the dealer for the most current information and details. While every reasonable effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this information, the dealership is not responsible for errors or omissions on this site. To receive any special or advertised pricing, a copy of the advertisement must be presented at the time of purchase. Due to supply chain challenges and limited inventory, vehicles may be subject to an additional market adjustment depending on inventory production, availability, and market conditions. See dealer for complete details. Prior sales are excluded".

Excellent catch. Semi hidden markup to just get more money. I would keep looking elsewhere. I too bought out of state. Do your homework, get the carfax, buy inside factory warranty, and nowadays think hard about the extended warranty. I never used to get it because my Fords have always been trustworthy and the dealers push it hard because they get commission off of it. But today’s vehicles can act up because the weather changes so I bought it on my last two. Good piece of mind I reckon.

I kept my Raptor less time than that. I had issues with parking it in the street since I only have 1 driveway in my 1950s house in central Austin, and that spot is reserved for my wife's Polestar. I also a dealer reached out with a great offer, so there was plenty of upside in trading for my Wildtrak. The point is, that it might not be a red flag, but do your due diligence. Always get a final price on a buyer's order sheet before considering any purchase.
Having to regularly parallel park a Raptor would probably give me panic attacks (between trying to get it in a spot right on the curb and worrying someone was going to smash into my fenders and mirrors every time a car went down the road).

I had to street park a rented Chevrolet Tahoe in the Bronx back in October and that was a horrible enough experience. And I think Raptors are a good 5 to 6 inches wider.

Yeah, it was the anxiety that it was going to get hit, or somebody was going be overly curious as the code orange raptor attracted a lot of attention.. I didn't need to stress about a vehicle.
