How early would a reservation need to be to safely assume there would be no effect from commodity constraints?

Say someone wants every option listed as constrained (but not late availability or MY22).

What's a good time cutoff estimate on the first night for reservations that would be safe to assume the reservation holder will not be affected by any commodity constraints?

I have zero clue but perhaps some on here know better… I have no idea if ill get mine early or late in fall..I’m 1 of 14 allocated to dealer with a 7/19 reservation who knows since I have one of the deadly options which can cause delays..

There’s really no way to even guess because we have no idea what the tightest constraint is, how many of those parts they have, or the breakdown of when Bronco reservation holders around the country reserved and what their build is.

For instance, you would have to find out that they only have 100 2.7 motors... and that the 100th person in North America to order a 2.7 by reservation time stamp reserved at 4:37 am...

Then you’d get your answer.

Earlier the better. Anything past week 1, I'd say forget about it. Most of the reservations were made in just the first few days of reveal.

Unless you know the exact number of parts available as @ZackDanger said and then know how many ordered that combination its not something that will be known until Orders close in March and build dates are given out in May as has been mentioned.

Right about the time you think you have it figured out later this spring, a tornado will strike which ever widget plant and delay all 4x4 builds by 3 months minimum.

Thankfully, nobody will get hurt.

The first 47 reservation holders should be safe from any constraints.

Reservation date is only one factor. Top factor is did you convert to an order. Next is final dealer allocation. Which isn’t set yet. Then it comes down to scheduling. I have a feeling there will be a lot of bent noses when people with early reservations start seeing people with later reservations driving off the lots. You want to be the first kid on the block? Order a base with no options. I bet that gets built first.

It’s not a linear answer. For instance, I reserved in the first 3 hours... so if Lux is the only commodity constrained item on my spec, maybe I have a good chance of immediate production.
But if you have several late availability items... assume Ford will make the best decision for Ford. Why make one vehicle with three commodity constrained items when they could make three vehicles, each with one commodity constrained item?

It depends on their true limiting factors. Then on Ford’s internal logic on how best to employ those resources to manufacture the most Broncos up front. Just my guess
