How long do you plan to own your new Bronco?

Unless it proves itself as reliable as my Toyota's and Lexus', probably until it's just our of warranty. Couldn't imagine the cost of replacing that 12" screen in 8 years. Time will tell, we kept our 2015 4runner for 8 years and only 126k miles, in 8 years our daughter will be driving and hopefully she can learn on either the Bronco or our 1st gen 4runner.

I don't have an end date planned but I'll hold on to it as long as I still enjoy driving it, it's not Nickle and diming me do death. Basically when the annoyance of ownership exceeds the expected annoyance of having to purchase something else.

I plan to keep it until it is no longer drivable. There will never be a BEV incendiary in my garage, the Bronco will enjoy a long life!

Odds are that you won't have to worry about a BEV fire in your garage as BEV's suffer fires at a lower rate than Hybrids and PHEV's according to Kelly Blue Book.

I don't think there will be another manual 2 door 4x4 aside from Bronco and Wrangler though, so I will probably just trade for a new model/color/trim if something awesome gets offered.

Well, I decided to sell my 2021 four door Badlands with the 2.7L EcoBoost engine back to my dealership. While my Bronco checked most of the boxes for what I wanted, it failed because I cannot install a roof rack under FoMoCo guidelines for load capacity, etc.,. Why exactly FoMoCo would not certify the OEM Roof Rack for this Badlands, but did for all other builds is a mystery to me. I have heard that it is the weight of the Sway bar disconnect, and the suspension was tuned differently, and could not handle the extra weight, and that FoMoCo was concerned owners would mount tents, etc,., on top which could result in more frequent rollovers, the point is, FoMoCo has not been transparent about the roof rack. Ford provided a list of accessories early on, including a bike rack, that for some reason became unavailable. Possibly because it is incompatible the rear door at the height of the trailer hitch mount. I ended up installing a hitch extender/dropper on mine so I could mount a Thule rack.

Anyway, I will saying goodbye to everyone here because I will no long be a Bronco owner. Many of your were very helpful. Many of your weren't, and the ones that were simply jerks will never read this post because I am ignoring them.

I especially call out @Lucchese, @VictoryLights, @flip, @geoking and @Ford Motor Company for their contributions and helpful comments. OK, @Ford Motor Company was absolutely no help at all, but I wanted them to see my final post.
