It's so hard to answer that question since we don't know what the future holds. Technology (EV) is moving so fast and though I think the ambitions of the automakers are going to be held back by our crappy electric infrastructure EV's will continue to make inroads. I think a hybrid Bronco would tempt me though. I have a hybrid Maverick which I'm liking.

As long as I want is the short answer the last 3 car/trucks I’ve ordered have been from 1-5 years each. Until something new and shiny catches my eye. I don’t look at cars as investments you only live once as far as we know so you better enjoy the ride.

Wife and I drove our last vehicle, an Explorer, for 30 years.
I'm 68 now.
Plan to drive our new Bronco for another 30 years, or when we can't buy gas, or loose our licenses, or the good Lord takes me. Which ever comes first.
So far, love the the new Bronco. :)

I have been driving my Jeep XJ for 19 years and my FX4 for 10 years now. My plan is to never sell the Bronco.

I hope I want to keep it forever. I bought a WT so it would be good to go for anything I might want to do without major modification.
After the warranty is up and I get a new daily driver, I plan to have a little more fun with it.

Classic, as is tradition a 2-doorer bringing up the 4-door thing when it's not even the question.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic but the 2 vs 4 door is definitely a factor in how long someone might keep one of these.

My sense is that the 2 door can be a daily driver and at some point even if it's no longer practical it remains a toy much like any other 2 seater or convertible.

Reading this thread there was general theme I picked up on - Bronco as a retirement vehicle. I am In that camp as well and am anxiously awaiting the banks to open so I can start the waiting process for getting exactly what I want. We have a tendency to keep vehicles for 10 plus years. This will be the first that we’ve ordered from the factory and I can totally see our Bronco going to a grandchild a couple decades from now.

Until i find another Bronco I want more. Two or more of the following:

  1. EV capabilities.
  2. Refresh that includes a bunch of tweaks that are impactful related to early 6g design issues. Think flat folding seats, longer 2D platform, no carpet in mgv, tailgate window rolls down etc.
  3. New features.
  4. Ability to customize next build and not be restricted to the crippling packages/color.

I'm planning on keeping mine for at least a decade and then I'm sure one of my kids would be happy to take it off my hands. Right now my youngest daughter is driving it a ton(on pace for 24k miles a year) so maybe it won't last a decade. :)
