Once the Bronco starts on the assembly Line, and then rolls off the assembly line?

The dates I got from Ford were that mine was started on a Monday and completed on a Friday.

How about an easier question like, “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop”?

You really can’t tell until your Bronco’s BCM comes alive and you can ping it. Then your Bronco is 1 or 2 shifts from the final station.

Produced or built, which are completely different things I learned waiting for my Bronco.

Couple of weeks in my case. They shut down the line when mine was being built.

Good news (for me) was that the builds that made it before the shutdown went straight to Snow, then Mud, then Dirt Mountain and mine got right on the train.

I'm interested to know the difference. Please tell.

As far as I can tell Produced means it went down the assembly line but was not completed. Built is when all the parts/problems are worked out and it's ready to ship. In my case 2 months time.

I'm interested to know the difference. Please tell.

Way back when, in October 2021, mine started the "build" process on a Monday and was completed the next day and then shipped that same Thursday. So like 2-3 days total is my guess during "normal" times.

Correct, mine was “produced” on January 28 missing chips. It then sat on ice mountain and was “built” on May 23, and then arrived at the dealership on June 16. Mine also had 139 miles on the odometer when it arrived. It is not a shippable unit until it is “built”

2-4 shifts if everything is perfectly in sync as far as part availability while yours is rolling down the line. Mine started 3/30 and was shipped by 4/1. The bronco social media manager answered this on Instagram in one of their question sessions.

Without someone who actually works on the production line answering this question, it’s all speculation. We had build weeks and blend dates but nothing holds Ford to those and what we are told doesn’t always hold true.

In theory it should take less than 2 minutes. 1000 units per 24 hours but anywhere from 18 to 35 hours on the line.

Old Henry got assembly time of a Model T down to 93 minutes in 1914
