How long until Ford just cancels outstanding reservations?

What about the Maveric and F-150 Lightning reservations that came after the Bronco? Not sure they will get rid of it. Just speculating though.

They won't cancel them, just stop doing things like price protection after 2022, removing the restrictions completely on dealers name matching, just make them completely worthless until people quit or they all get built in the year 2525.

Canceling the reservations would be a kindness.

The post mortem of the Bronco Reservation debacle will be golden. Ford still sold all the Broncos they could produce, kept focus on the product for a year and a half, took up much of the auto journalism bandwidth and kept anyone interested in what was going to happen next, while pulling massive ADM for dealers.

The only losers were the tens of thousands empty handed reservation holders... bitter... cold... anxious to buy, but not willing to jump ship. Like abused children... hey I got a sticker.

Ford doesn't love you, never has. Ford only wants to sell to whoever.

Buy from those who have product to sell, not promises.
