How many miles before your 1st windshield chip/crack

Got to 15,550 and this happened…

15,000+ miles and maybe some near misses but no cracks or major chips.

Its a very small "chip" at best, of course I see it every day.

2 of them in 2600 miles 3rd and lots of peppered marks on when took it in for chip repair.

4300 miles no chip yet ,but on the test drive I noticed a small pebble stuck in the sas Goodyear no biggie right?
As soon as I hit 35 that sucker comes out like a bullet into the door 4 miles on odometer.
Changed with mud terrain tires and methods next am.

Its a catchers mit. Not a ford issue. Look at jeeps. They all have cracks.

It’s not a jeep thing. I’ve got two (TJ and JK) about 150k miles between the two of em. Both original windows. It’s a driver issue. Following too close. I know folks don’t wanna hear it but distance is your friend in a jeep or bronco back off and the rock chips should subside. Now oncoming traffic kicking up rocks… yeah that’s a crap shoot . On the way home from the dealer, day one. 233 miles

I also got a crack on day one on the way home from the dealer. Granted I had a 500 mile drive home but I got hit hard by a rock on my way out of Nashville on the highway but couldn’t see a chip or crack right away. By the time I got home that night the crack was 6 inches long from the bottom of the passenger side windshield. The rock hit right under the wiper blade. Still haven’t changed the windshield yet at about 3,000 miles. Will get around to it later this summer. Adds a little character
