My21 production doesn't end till early to mid December, so the number of my21 orders getting pushed to my22 remains to be seen. If someone were to make a poll raffle, I'd place my jelly bean in a jar guess at 50,000 delayed orders
That's the figure I was guessing also

I believe Most Bronco reservations got pushed. Of course there is still the 3,500/7,000 FEs they swear they are going to make. Not sure what their plan is about the ones on Dirt Hill (basically all Broncos that have been built with a 2021 VIN but won't to release until they get the new MIC)

And there is the rub...the new MIC is supposed to be happening in October, call me a skeptic, But I see them missing that deadline.

So short answer is, any Bronco that hasn't already been built (sans FE) Will probably get pushed to 2022.

Ford is lucky the other manufacturers are having supply issues or it WOULD be a blood bath.

Just wondering, does anyone have a number of how many existing my21 orders got pushed to my22?
Only the lucky ones that won't be pushed to 2023!

I'm guessing at this rate that all the MY21 pushback will fill MY22 production schedule to the point we are waiting till late 2022 before the real MY22 start building.

This is getting old... like me at this point.

I thought this roll out was bad before, but trying to be mindful of the pandemic playing a bit role in parts constraints. Now it's just a dumpster fire - Ford should be ashamed of how this is gone, and the very poor communication throughout. But hey, at least a bunch of folks got a hammock.

"Hang in there"...

There were ~ 130,000 orders by March 19th, which was the cut-off Ford used for final dealer allocation for 2021.

Since that date, they continued to accumulate orders for 2021s. And while most reservations were in the 1st week of the unveil, orders actually picked up a bit after March when the media announced that building had actually started.

We will probably find out the actual number in the next quarterly financials, but let's say it ran up to 150,000.

I'd have a hard time believing that Ford will build more than 18,000 customer Broncos for MY21 at this point.

So, I'm going with 132,000.

There is a huge difference between new MIC available in October, and new MIC built at Full Rate Production. I can believe new mic in October and building dozens a day.

New MIC and actually building high hundreds (which is what is needed) is a completely different matter.

Sadly, I would agree, as previously posted ad nauseum by me; Since March, I have been firmly believing that the push for soft tops last March meant that they no longer believed internally that they could get enough tops (and don't forget, the MIC is a downgrade from the original spec on the FE) to complete the FE builds. Unfortunately, taking whatever Ford claims and betting the 'under' on performance and 'over' on time has been a lock on winning for the entire process. I do not see them changing that inertia for a year or more. and even then, it would be a shock.
