Curious how many people will be on the 2 payment life? Already have a payment on my current Super Duty, and Bronco will be my 2nd. Am I crazy? Probably. But I want it. Who else?

I make a $450 payment a month for wife’s new explorer and I plan to make another $450 or so payment on a Bronco. Both 5 year loans. That’s nothing compared to what I pay for daycare every month for my two kids. I’ll be happy when they are both in school!

Timing was right for me to trade my F150 in on a F350 Tremor so I’ll have that and the Bronco. But a two door isn’t going to show up any time soon.

Was originally planning a single car payment.

Oak tree fell on wife's Ford Focus.

You could say plans have now changed.

Wife's new vehicle is a Ford Escape, and I could realistically pay it off before the Bronco arrives thanks in large part to the 2022 MY delay. BUT... doing so would decimate my down payment on my Bronco. Mathematically it's the correct move to pay off the Escape, but not sure how that'll impact my ability to get approved for financing on the Bronco... so I've been hesitant to write the big payoff check on the Escape. (If any financial folks are around, feel free to chime in as to which move makes the most sense.)

Putting 25k down on my big bend and a 7k trade in. Financing 13k over 4 yrs. Payment will be under $300 per month.

People on here be rolling in cash. I’m still feeling somewhat guilty for doing this and trading in my vehicle that is paid off lol I was raised to be conservative with my money though, so it’s a mental battle with any purchase

I was prepared to have 2 payments for about a year until my Nissan Rogue was paid off. Then last week my bosses gave me a bonus large enough to pay off the Rogue! They are so excited about the Bronco and know I am only keeping the Rogue for work purposes so wanted to help out and say thank you for all I have done the past year during covid. I work for a small ticketing company (4 people total) and took 10 months of unpaid leave to help them out last year. But I am super grateful to them!
