Assuming I take delivery in November, we'll be down to two car payments by March 2022. Current cars will roll off lease and will need to get another one for the other half.

For me, a past vehicle getting lemon-lawed just over a year ago made for most of the funds for me. Beyond that, saving every bonus check since then has put me well over what it will take to pay for mine plus well over the '50% paid for' line on the Maverick I ordered on top of that.

The only time I financed a car was when they gave me 0% interest rate, and I ended up paying the car after one year anyway, since my Bronco will cost me around $53K OTD, I am more inclined to finance, I should be able to get 1.99% for 66 months with my credit union, most likely $15K-$30K down, my rule in life is to not own more than one car unless the other car is appreciating in value but I am single with no wife or kids for now so whatever I make stays in my pocket or at least some of it ( after the government takes its unfair share ), every person is different.

Depends on how long it takes me to get my Bronco, if my Mustang is nearly paid off I'm keeping it and will have two payments for a bit.
Yeah similar boat. Truck will be paid off in about 18 months. So by the time I get my Bronco next year, I will only have 2 payments for a little while.

I'm torn on this. I love my Model 3, but owning multiple vehicles as a single person w/o kids is logistically annoying.

For the subtle financial flex that seems popular in this thread: I sell weekly covered calls on 2k shares of Ford stock that roughly equal my expected payment lol.

Planning 50% down, loaded OBX sas @ $500/mo 72 year. Although, these damn bronco delays forced me out of BOTH my leased vehicles, and had to purchase another new SUV for the upcoming winter (since leasing is so poor right now), which is another $60k SUV, which I also just put ~50% down, $500/mo 72 years. Backing into $999/mo between the two.

Without trade ins, this whole experience will have me at $70k out of pocket after taxes on back to back purchases, and $1,000/mo for 72 months combined. Will be missing my $70k cash, and $700/mo payments (which was my outgoing combined lease payments). Although, in the end, this will be a big upgrade in the stable. S60 sedan lease + Outback lease >>> XC90 T6 R-Design + Ford Bronco loaded OBX sas 4 dr.
