I also wonder if you can do multiple reservations. For example, customers that reserved the mach e premium were not able to modify their orders to a mach e first edition or a mach e gt. If there is some kind of limited production bronco that makes sense, I'd plunk down a reservation on that and one on my 2nd choice. These $100 deposits must be a great way for ford to tell wall street how many Broncos they've "pre sold'
I don't think the number will be overly high. People who are really passionate about vehicles are in the minority. Most people go to a car lot and are talked into a purchase by the salesman, and they honestly don't care what they drive as long as it fits their purpose and is reliable.
Many people who think they want one will wait to see one first. I'm thinking around 30K for the first day.
Mach E had >5,000 after 24 hours
and is just over 40,000 now
i think the bronco will eclipse that day 1 by a good margin.
ill say, 15,000 after 24 hours. And around 50,000 by November 1st.
But only about 35,000 actually going threw with purchasing
Also for those saying we are in a “economic downturn”. the down turn isn’t hurting the upper half of America.
also the F150 had its 3 best June sales of all time. After it’s worst month (April) since 2008
Here's a question, and no I didn't go looking for it cuz I'm lazy. If we were to put down a deposit to get our place in line, does the order need to be placed in December when orders go live? Or is there a chance you could hold that back to like January?
