How much additional deposit are your dealers asking for to finalize your build?

My dealer said he would be asking for an additional deposit after my truck was scheduled to be built. I don't know how much it will be. He said it's crazy to ask someone for the deposit when they can't say how long until it will be built.

Well, I got scheduled last week, let's see how long until they contact me.

The variance in what dealerships are asking for is kind of obnoxious. This is at least one thing ford should have mandated 5o maintain some consistency with regards to Bronco buyers expectations. People think it's Ford requiring the deposit, they may not realize it's their dealership and some douchy and skeevy dealerships asking for twice what others are asking just pisses people off when they realize it.

I’ll start my salesman called me to come in next Wednesday to finalize my order and he said they are asking for a 400 deposit I thought that wasent bad at all.

My dealer requires $0 deposit.
