The weight of rims and tires can vary greatly when going aftermarket or different options. And I know weight on can have a big impact due to the inertia of the rotating wheel. but how much of a variance in the total weight of a wheel would be enough to have a noticeable difference in performance. And by performance I mean MPG and acceleration. Would a difference of 5 lbs per wheel be negligible? How about 10? Is there a threshold number?
For example would I notice anything if I went with a steel BD wheel to the aluminum option? How about if I went from 265/70/17 Grabbers to a 275/70/17 similar tire? What about going to KO2?
This would be for the 2.3 man
