I just like the wider tires. Like adding a negative offset looks.

Can I just add a negative offset without changing the wheel?

Do you think discount tire / costco can do this?
If you just want the tire to stick out, get a $200 set of fender deletes from Rough Country or 4wheel Parts. A good set of tires and wheels will cost you 3k-$3500 from 4wheel Parts mounted, balanced, shipped with TPMS sensors already installed. They also give you free lugs that are better than the factory two piece lugs. Theyā€™re ready to bolt right on, I donā€™t know if thereā€™s anything special you have to do to program it to read the new TPMS sensors, but Iā€™m sure one of the nice folks on B6G would walk you through it.

Iā€˜m assuming you want 35ā€ tires and not 35ā€ wheels like you said in the op. 35ā€ wheels would be silly. I donā€™t think Costco sells wheels, but I guarantee they donā€™t sell 35ā€ wheels.

Just put cool tires on the stock rims. It will cost you about $1500.
@ kkurni. This is solid advice. Go with 33s with a semi-aggressive tread pattern... either on your stock rims... or change the rims to some you like better (but at twice the cost). You should be happy with the stance. The wider tire will give you a bit more "poke", too. If you want even more poke and a meatier look, get your wheels in the same size but with with "0 offset".

I think you have no need for a lift or locker if your wheeling will be as light as you say.

Check out @Dusty on Youtube (search "Horsin Around"). You will be surprised what a stock Bronco on upgraded tires with no lockers can accomplish. I think they are running Nitto Trail Grapplers (35X12.50-17) with a small leveling kit. He has the stock open-diff (no lockers), but with the 2.3L/7MT trans, he has 4.46 gears. If you have the auto, I wouldn't go bigger than a 33".

Hope this helps.

If that is the case 32ā€ tires will be fine. Option in the rear locker and put on a good set of 32ā€-33ā€ tires. No need for rims and about $1000 for tires. You have no need for 35ā€ tires, and they will decrease every aspect of pavement performance.
Then buy a sports car .

Planning to remove sasquatch on OB order to speed up the build date.

How much will it cost to upgrade to 35 inch wheel aftermarket and 2" lift?

I am not handy man, do you think discount tire or costco can install this wheel with a gurantee later?
Here is what I did and it cost me around $3K

Badlands non-sas coilovers
RC 1" level
275/70/18 Ridge Grapplers

I had a local shop do it. You could cut this in half if you forgo the Badlands coilovers and 1" level as they are not required. Even more if you can find a less expensive tire.

No lift required for 35's on a base suspension if you are not going to offroad it heavily.

Folks have put 35" tires on the factory 17" wheels with only a tiny amount of rub.

I put 35's on 17 x 8.5 Methods with +35mm offset.
ZERO poke, which is what I wanted.

Just to give you an idea how stuff fits.
Method 17 x 8.5 +35mm offset
Toyo OC AT3 .... 35 x 11.5 x 17 ... Load Range C
Base suspension NO LIFT
standard flares
all in with new TPMS and mount/balance .... around $3600

Did the new TPMS automatically sync with the Bronco? If so, how long did it take.

FWIW, I used the Ford/Motorcraft sensors. I bought them from Rock Auto online.
# TPMS68
Kind of spendy, but I didn't want any trouble, they're proven.
Should be 100,000mi trouble-free.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=12877961&cc=3448311&pt=12036&jsn=8

As far as I could tell, it read them immediately or nearly immediately.
The folks who mounted the tires had them aired up to about 50 psi, so the ride was stiff as hell, so I pulled up the TPMS screen and saw the pressures.

I am NOT 100% certain it has the positions right, but I think it might be correct.
When I aired them down later, I noticed it showed the pressure change almost immediately also.

I might toy around with the pressure one at a time to see if they are shown in the right positions.

I notice in the part description above, they are "pre-programmed" ... however that works.
