Off topic but what’s that graphic over the hood and along the side?
They said in one of the early videos it was just concept graphics, but it got so much positive buzz they were looking into making it available.

I haven’t heard any updates since then but may have missed something.

People could just make their own with some vinyl and line cutting tape. On my Mustangs I always did my own custom graphics.

Haha it’s to late at night for that! But I understand! When the bronco comes I’ll just remove the crash bars! That’s what I’ve been told!
So take the easy to remove crashbar out.... But in the meantime just sit back and wait till you see it done over and over...
Yes. They bolt up, but everyone who’s tried it says they interfere… and more than just the brash bars. (Crash bars were removed on the overland rig, and no doubt Ryan is smart enough to try that first.)

I welcome you to try it. I’m also curious as to what parts of the Bronco body need to be hammered and cut out of the way to allow it to work.

Im not trying to be difficult… just want to present the evidence as we have it so far… which includes reports from experts who have actually tried it.
I know some people are reluctant to trim, especially on a new vehicle, but it's never been one of my concerns.

Rubbing isn't necessarily bad. Some setups will only rub at full articulation and full lock.
So here is the latest intel from 4WP/DSI I got at yesterday's Dallas 4WP show. The rep clearly pointed out were the crash bars are removed for the 37's, left and right pics below. He said what they found at full lock the 37's are rubbing a little. He said it would be on the customer to trim the inner section of the crash bar support (see my pic with red arrow below), if they want, but from a liability standpoint 4WP will not touch it.

@dirtstar2002 Ryan can you please give us a little more insight on this?

I’m just going to be running 35’s so it shouldn’t be an issue! Thanks for the info!

Pleased to see the CV angles aren’t bad at all with the 3” lift. Should still get some decent downtravel out of this setup. Someone needs to take a page from the Jeep world and come up with quick disconnects for the front swaybar links ala the JKS ones available for the Wrangler. Looking forward to hearing real world feedback on setups similar to these with adjustable UCA’s and 37s.

I was able to attend two Bronco events yesterday, the second one in Frisco where Ford had two Badlands to see. I climbed underneath to get photos of some various parts, here is the SBD and swaybar links. You can see they are inset and the nuts to the inside so it may be a little challenge to get to on the trail, how do these compare to Jeep's?

Very similar to the JKS JL offerings. If someone made one with the disconnect on the bottom underneath the a-arm then you could disconnect and lift up on the swaybar once disconnected to pull the link out of the arm and velcro the swaybar link to the bar.

Or you could use the top nut as the disconnect and have the swaybar link separate in the middle with a push pin or something. Leave the bottom half attached to the a-arm and then re-assemble/reconnect when you’re done wheeling.

In all reality that’s something an electric wrench could take on/off in under a minute for each side if someone wanted to save $200. They look very easy to remove.

Here’s a JL link for reference:

The biggest difference isn't the parts but the accessibility.

On a Jeep, you can easily get to the links from the front of the jeep. The lower sway bar mounting point is welded to the front of the axle housing in front of the spring perch.

On the Bronco, the sway bar is behind the front suspension. I am not sure if you can get to them without crawling under the vehicle. It would be interesting to see if you can get to them through the wheel well, if the steering is turned all the way.

As side from that, it's nuts and bolts. Disconnecting would be easy. Reconnecting can some times be a pita when not on level ground.

If you notice, that the Red Race Bronco is on 25mm wheels now. we are still developing a crashbar to fit that option. give us a bit more time and we will have an approved set of crash bars. ( oh, don't forget most of the parts on the Red Race Bronco are prototype as we mad thrash to get final revisions into MFG) (and Marketing keeps stealing our development vehicle.)

Are you saying you are currently working on a solution to let 37's clear under full compression and full lock so they do not rub the frame rail or I am not understanding your post correctly?

I can not officially comment on this. I can say that we are always striving for continual improvement.

@dirtstar2002

What about this? Have you looked at dropping the diff itself to create more height?
That helps the CV, what about the ball joints, or the shrinking track width that plunges the axles?
