A spacer increases the maximum extension, potentially to the point where the CV binds up and is destroyed. A longer spring increases the typical CV angle, but the maximum extension is not increased so the CV can't bind and grenade. Longer springs do not necessarily result in a harsh ride, but they are slightly harder to install than a spacer. Hopefully Eibach will come up with some good spring upgrades for Bronco.
Was anything I said wrong? Do you have the answer I’m looking for? Is there a max spacer lift size for a squatch bronco that will not bind the CV?

Sorry, I don't have the answer you want. 4WP expert said not to use strut spacers due to binding, so ignore that at your peril. Ford wanted to maximize the offroad capability (RTI spec), so unlike many vehicles there probably isn't much margin on the max extension. I think spring leveling is well worth the ~$300 for modest lift.

Wouldn’t 32s fit on a 1997 Wrangler?

so a 2021 Bronco needs trimming for 33s?

So, quick skim of the thread, but did I miss discussion of rear coilovers? I want to replace my stock front suspension with either 2.5 or 3.0 adjustable coilovers. What does 4wp have for the rear? Will it be adjustable? How high can we go before it needs new track bar and other mods to the rear suspension?

All 4 corners get adjustable coil overs if you go aftermarket.

Yes, that's why I'm asking what coilovers they will have for the rear, as well as and other rear suspension parts they will have.

A 4 door badlands can take 35’s with -0 wheels correct? I’m specifically talking about the fifteen52 wheels.
I feel like that's true, the RTR Bronco has 35x12.5x17 and the wheels on it are a +0 with the perfect amount of poke.

Ok I went to his post but it isn’t there anymore that’s weird is it even true
I have a post where I asked what offset the RTR Bronco was and they said +0 on that one

Probably a dumb question that’s been covered somewhere, but how do you get lift AND increase travel with IFS. I’m assuming it’s expensive…
I know on Isuzu, you can do a ‘Diff drop’ to lower the front differential, which helps with CV angle after a lift.

From what I gather from this is that all broncos below badlands can fit 35’s with a leveling kit, and the badlands already got the Sasquatch shocks!! So why get the Sasquatch package again? Lol
I am struggling with this on the badlands. to go bigger tires (37s) don't I need/want the 4.7 rear axle?
