Does anyone know of another way to get x plan outside of the mustang club? They are no longer taking new members in online.

If you know of a way that won't work for everyone, I would really appreciate a direct message as well.

I went with the 100 shares route. I feared the mustang club would be too good to be true with how many people were talking about it.

Hopefully by the time I take delivery I'll have turned a decent profit and buy the accessories I want.

I'm hoping I can order in December and they wont need the X-Plan PIN until I finalize the deal and take delivery. I've done deals with other brands where they write it up with the discount then only need the PIN at the time of signing off on everything.

Here's what I did. Purchase 100 shares of Ford stock (symbol F) and hold for 6 months. You will become eligible for Partner Pricing Programs.

And if the Bronco is a significant success - I can sell the shares after I get my x-plan pin for a profit.

Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) also has the X-plan deal. My dealer said X plan certificate is needed at delivery, not order....

EAA membership is $40/year.

Does the x plan pin expire after a certain time period or is it good forever until you use it? I can't remember which post I read it but I saw something about you have to use it within 30 days. That could make timing difficult

It expires after one year.
