How are you all keeping these clean? In the PNW seems like every time I drive the truck a few miles they are heavily covered in rain or muck and need to wipe them off on re-entry just to see the same thing when I actually need to use them again to park.

Any tips?

Most of the time I only have a problem with the rear camera. When I’ve driven through some snowy/slushy/spray-ey roads the next time I stop and get out, I just lick my finger and rub the crud off a little camera lens. Not much else one can do.

Front camera use front window washer to clean. I really wish the rear worked off the rear window washer.

I just try to clean the lense before it dries, finger or shirt.

Awesome I didn't know about washer fluid on front! I have a micro fiber rag to wipe, but doesn't help when I need them most after driving... And yes the PNW it's all weird misty rain or mud that seems to stick.

I’ve been keeping a microfiber towel in the truck just for the cameras. 🤷🏻‍♂️

As mentioned above I do same thing, but looks lame rolling up everytime you drive to hop out in the rain to wipe and park on a tight spot.

It's such a bizarre choice how they opted to provide a sprayer for the front but not the rear. If we could only have one I would have much preferred having a rear camera speayer.

Agreed I find it much easier backing in and pulling straight out than trying to back out with limited visibility, cross traffic, and pedestrians.

I always back into my parking space. It blows my mind how people just blindly back out in to cross traffic and expect everyone to yield to them. Massive pet peeve of mine. I'm of the opinion backing in should be a requirement. The parking lot of my work place is a beautiful sight. No one pulls in forward.

Not trying to be a douche or anything but couldn't you just use your mirrors to park?

Yes I can! But also in not being a "douche" (you need to expand you vocabulary) , can't I get some new tech promised and paid for that every car seems to offer (Hyundai to Land Rover) that put some thought into it without this issue? If it's something offered, test it or don't offer it.

That aside, asking to see if someone has a good solution for the tech provided.
