You just remove the two nuts in the LCAs and zip tie it out of the way. Quick and easy with a cordless impact. You do not have to remove the bar or have a quick disconnect kit. 10 minutes and a couple of zip ties is all it takes. Mines been tied up for the last 4K miles, on and off road with no issues.
Thank you. This is the advice I was looking for. My any chance does anyone have any videos of doing this for a Bronco?

That wasn't my question and the original post was clear about not having the button.

And of course you can always replace the sway bar disconnect, with after -market disconnects. I'm looking for advice/videos on how to manually disconnect the sway bar.

It would be a short, boring video. Remove nut, zip tie. It's that easy.

Here's one from AC-Fab showing their quick disconnects. Doesn't show the actual removal of the stock ones, but you should be able to figure it out from this.

I wanted to add a photo of securing the end links since I hadn't seen one posted before. I manually unbolted and tied up the links in this fashion for a week in Moab. The rubber bushings hold the bar up and out of the way of the axle and there was no contact or interference with anything else- even at full articulation/ steering lock.

The benefits of the disconnected bar were immediately apparent, even on mildly rough surfaces. The whole ride becomes softer/smoother and the rear end had more traction- didn't need to use the locker as often. I even liked it disconnected at speed offroad (50+) to better absorb the hits and allow the front to bite.

It drives fine on the road without the bar connected, but you can feel it take a little more time to settle on corner entry, requiring a bit more patience with the wheel. I personally wouldn't want to leave it disconnected for long freeway driving, high crosswinds, or twisty backroads. We reconnected it for our trip home.

I have purchased the hydro-disconnect bar for the Badlands to retrofit. Should be the best of both worlds and by connecting it to an AUX switch it'll stay disconnected over 20mph. Several threads on b6g.com have instructions for this.
