Will a tune void the warranty or just wait until the warranty is over ?

If the dealer or manufacturer look for it and made an issue out of it, they can void your warranty (typically just for components related to the modification) Many ignore it. I will be tuning from the start. The warranty is only 36k anyways. Problems always develop at 37k!Will a tune void the warranty or just wait until the warranty is over ?
I can just imagine what that would do to a tiny 1.5L engine stressed out already with a turbo. (Wear it out fast). I used to have a Chevy/Geo Metro with a tiny 1.3 L engine.

Well, the 2.3 from the RS / Ranger platform and the 2.7 from the F150, tuning is already out there, its a done deal.Well that was quick. That gives me hope they will be able to support the Bronco quickly. I will be getting a tune asap.
I simply copied the post and pasted it at the Bronco Sport forum. Then I created a link on both forums so each post takes you back to the other, click on my links and you will see how it works. How do you cross post? I've seen duplicate posts before I wish I could combine
There’s talk Ford may lock the pcm/ECM down to limit aftermarket tuners. Hopefully with tunes available for the BS this means we will have better/additional options than the FP tune (IF they even make that available for us).Well, the 2.3 from the RS / Ranger platform and the 2.7 from the F150, tuning is already out there, its a done deal.
thats solvable and wont be an issue on the BroncoThere’s talk Ford may lock the pcm/ECM down to limit aftermarket tuners. Hopefully with tunes available for the BS this means we will have better/additional options than the FP tune (IF they even make that available for us).
