I've had mine on for two weeks. I bought the FT1's in the tarmak color (black) because I couldn't decide on another color and knew that the all black OEM wheel looked good. They come with 0 offset so they stick out a little over 1.5" from OEM (if you are installing 315 70 17 tires). My reason for the purchase was to have a replacement set of wheel/tires for the OEM Goodyear's immediately on the Bronco's delivery. I went with BFG KO2's because of experience with 4 previous sets on different vehicles. Always wanted a set of HRE's, figured they would be on some sport car not a SUV. Quality is great on these, I'm very satisfied.

Has to do with materials used and the process of how theyre made. That price is surprisingly cheap since most HRE car wheels start about $1000 and go up from there.
The more expensive, non-Flow Form line wheels are forged wheels, which carries a premium over HRE's flow formed wheels (and the latter a premium over cast wheels, which HRE does not sell).

So you're saying higher paid workers results in higher quality products? I'd like to see the study that proves that, because you won't find one.
Exactly Dale!! You're so right! Unpaid slave labor makes low quality products. A+ for you bud.

The last set of HRE I had on my NSX back in 05 has bad hubs. Talk about a nightmare with them failing randomly! I had 2 fail in town 2 different times, 1 failed between kingman and flagstaff, az. I don’t know about the 4th hub I sold the wheels after I was stranded for hours.
So I will pass on this wheel company.

Please explain what youre referring to? There is no hub on a wheel, just the center bore (hole) that goes over the hub of the car.

Just to inform everyone interested, lug nuts are included with these wheels. We have had a few emails asking which part number to order.

Believe it or not all metals are the same
not quite.
Flow forming uses a different alloy than gravity cast (cheap wheels) and low pressure cast (better cheap wheels)
. Ranked in quality is:

Gravity Cast
Low-pressure Cast
Flowforming (Cast with ‘forged’ barrels)
Forged

As far as the wheels, HRE makes great products just not a fan of these on the Bronco for some reason.
