Electric HUMMER EV vs. Bronco

This thing is gonna for sure be $70k plus to start when it comes out. They are charging $53k base for a 2021 Tahoe now. With a 1000hp electric engine on a large suv chassis, no way this isn't going to be more expensive then Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Escalade.

A few years ago police departments were buying Tahoe’s for $25k, the profit margin on those SUVs is ridiculous. I wouldn’t touch one now that they don’t have a solid rear axle but they used to be pretty great before they jacked prices up so high to justify the Traverse minivan.

I've had 3 and hated selling every one. I also had the last 2 door blazer, but I don't think they called it a K5.

I would love to have a new K5 the size of the 1st gen with removable top, but one I didn't have to work on all the time. I'm getting soft in my old age.

I'm not a GM guy, but do like the new GMC trucks.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Hummer EV is pretty great (unless it looks overly plastic) to be honest...I'm signed up for email updates.

Didn't the Hummer have a commercial during the superbowl? I guess you could say it's a response but they planned a reveal prior to the Bronco anyways.

It's tough to say every SUV is a competitor to the Bronco. In my opinion its jeep v bronco you are looking at two separate items under the SUV umbrella.

These are two totally different vehicles that happen to be able to go off-roading. That’s the only similarity.

You can also remove the top on a Porsche Boxster.
The price is a lot more.
It’s electric.
It’s bigger.
It’s going to be able to tow much more.
It’s simply in a different category.

Have you not seen people disappointed in the Bronco’s towing?

its an SUV w/removable top and so is the Bronco. It’s not like all 230K Reservations are because the Bronco is perfect. the Delay alone will make others move to other SUV’s
