Is it an all new 3.5? Why not just use the 3.3?

I can't see them using the 3.5 EB for this.

Also interesting to see Ford will no longer offer the Raptor as a supercab which is shame because I think they look better than the crew cabs.

Looks like the same engines they have now, but with a hybrid option for the 3.5L. Unless that's a completely different 3.5L for the hybrid.
I bet that hybrid drivetrain will be shared with Bronco

I would imagine it is the 3.5EB without the turbos, and an electric motor in the transmission. Throwing darts at a wall.

I don't think this will be in the Bronco. The Explorer Hybrid 3.3 set up would be a better size fit for the smaller Bronco package.

It's probably a 3.5 duratec
That would be my guess as well.

That's what the 3.3 system in the Explorer is based on isn't it? The 3.3 is the hybrid package I'd expect to see in the Bronco.

I wish it was connected to the 3.5 EcoBoost, however that is unlikely. I feel it's unlikely to even see the 3.5 EcoBoost in the Bronco at all. I would gladly pay for an electric 3.5l EcoBoost though, the power would be amazing (especially with a tune). Hell, the 3l EcoBoost hybrid in the explorer st is amazing when tuned. Anyways, thanks for the link @Administrator

agreed. I believe the f150 is a turbo hybrid. Otherwise they would have used the 3.3. It will most likely be the Explorer hybrid set up. A year or two after launch

I don't see the High Output 3.5 EB listed so that may lend some credibility to the thought it may be the EB that's going to be used in the hybrid setup. That means that's what the Raptor will have.

A lot of folks were hoping the Raptor would get the Predator from the GT500 to compete with the TRX.
