I’m in first group of 8500 Bronco orders converted to a 2022 model

My reservation date is 7/20/20, and my order date is 1/29/21. I'm guessing about 50,000 reservation holders are in front of me, so I'm not expecting mine until at least May or June. Are my expectations too optimistic???

When they start making 8,000 of these a month you'll be caught up in no time. I'm a 7/18 and I'm guessing/hoping April/May.

People continuously throw around the total reservations as if it is a giant single file line. All that matters is your spot in your dealer's line. In MY'21, the allocation was capped at a percentage (roughly 30%). In MY'22, no one has nailed down the allocation for dealers. When you place your order for MY'22, you can ask your dealer where you stand with respect to orders ahead of you. It won't be 50k.

Appreciate the input. BTW, love your forum name from a fellow "bum" and soon to be Florida resident. We have a beach condo in Naples and will be there for 6+ months each winter as soon as my youngest is off to college in less than 2 years. In the meantime, we spend about 60 days down there each year from October until early April.

My dealer had 7 order's moved to 11/08 yesterday. Mine included. All have vins. I feel the last 21's off the line will be 2dr's.

I never had a reservation.
My order date was 3/13/2021.
My build is a Base 2-door with 2.7L, Switches, HD Bumper.
My order status is still NSP. I'm sure my build is still waiting on the MIC 2.0 production.

I reserved first night July 14 2020 and I’m still waiting on my badlands with softop. Don’t hold your breath yet

I have a 4 door scheduled on 11/8 BB basic build soft top. Reservation and order from August 2021. I think it really comes down to build and allocations.

Each of those dates looks painfully familiar, except for 11/08. My dealer says my date is 11/15, but that doesn't show up in the online tracker.

I also had a 6/14, a 7/5, and an 8/23. Maybe I had some other option that caused a few more delays... who knows. Good luck with yours, thanks to all for the info. I'm working with dealer to try to switch to MGV, and we'll see how that goes. Will follow up with the outcome here.

I was actually at the dealer today because my parents just bought a new escape and we pulled the order sheet.

These are all my build dates.

7/26, 8/23, 8/30, 9/27 ,10/18, 10/25, 11/08

I’m seriously hoping 11/08 is the last one.
I am a fairly early reservation holder with an order date of January 22.

So my order is in for 2022 but I still have no vin, production or even a hammock.
I might get my Bronco in February or Next October.

My dealer just e-mailed me to say I was in the first group of 8500 Bronco orders to be converted to a 2022 model.
I know production scheduling will be determined by option availability but I think that's pretty good news for an early 2022 model year delivery.

Until mid October I dont think anyone would know this info unless you are just a very late res date then of course is the next 8500 of 22. Im still waiting on build date and my res was 07/14/2020.

My dealer just said I would have to come back in and reorder once the 2022 bank opened.this was just last week. Losing confidence....

how would you possibly have a VIN or production date on a 2022 when there is still over a month of scheduling for 2021s? You can't even have a 2022 ordered yet as the banks don't open for over 2 weeks.

Information on this site confirms that you need to re-order for 2022.
I emphatically asked him when I needed to come in and reorder.
He said it rolled over to a 2022 order automatically.
I also asked about some up grades like the capable bumper.
He said his DM said don't change a thing?
I don't have a vin so I am also confused.
When the order banks open I'll stop by and talk to him again.
