My wife is finally interested in getting her license. Considering that she almost gave me a heart attack yesterday, I think it’ll be a few years before she gets to drive my Bronco, even if it’s in the middle of nowhere.

My wife has not driven my new bronco in the first two months. She says she doesn't want to be involved if it comes back with a ding or a new noise, etc.

I had a TD5 Defender 110 on 37's that she drove often. One big difference with this thing is the mild over-road manners. Most of my other vehicles were borderline impractical for normal every-day driving. It's funny because I feel like I love this thing a little less than some of my past rigs. But maybe it's just the brand spanking newness that she's afraid of.

I'm not complaining.

This will be the vehicle my wife learns to drive a manual transmission in.
It's going to spoil her for anything else - it is the easiest and best manual I have ever driven.

This Bronco is mine. However, dear husband is a nervous passenger ( in all situations, I am a very good driver ) so we have an agreement that when we go places together, he drives. I can only assume I will not be going anywhere alone for a while.

That's what I've heard. Prior manual transmission vehicles she wasn't willing to try; 1965 Corvair 4 speed, 1989 Ford Ranger 5 speed, 1992 Ford Thunderbird SC 5-speed.

She is excited to try the Bronco.

Ours a long way off but, it is hers. Without a doubt. She says I'll get to drive it some, but not too much.
