Do you mind sharing where you purchased it and how much it cost? If you are doing the install yourself, also interested in knowing how difficult or easy it is when you get around to it.That B&O finally got to me... It is expensive.... I had to choke the price down.... Depends on how good a deal you can make with your local Morel dealer. Thanks!
Don't forget te pics. I'm interested in the sound deadening and if it reduces some of the road noise from under the Bronco. It is expensive.... I had to choke the price down.... Considering these are a mix of a couple of Morel's higher end lines the price tag is pretty high... Like in the 6k to 7k area.... But that does include the DSP and 2300 watt Amp and a tailgate box for the sub.... and then it comes with 4 separate tunes from the engineers at Morel that are selectable on the Ford sync 4 system (your dash display)....
I will be installing myself. I trust my work more than I trust anyone else to do it right. I am waiting on my Kill Matt to arrive this weekend.
Going to be a rather easy install. All plug and play. I was worried about placing the gigantic cross overs from Morel but it turns out they actually installed all the cross over components in the wiring and heat shrinked them in... Making my life FAR Easier! Only thing that will take a bunch of time and effort will be in sound deadening.

Oh wow, this is the first I've heard of anyone using this feature. Wonder how it integrates to do that?and then it comes with 4 separate tunes from the engineers at Morel that are selectable on the Ford sync 4 system (your dash display)....
Oh my tastes are eclectic.... I am all over the place. Classical to zydeco, all the 60s, 70s and 80s rock, I even have NWA.... Pink Floyd is a personal fav but I also have a love for some of those bands from the Florida Georgia line... as well as for some of those from across the pond. My wife likes a bunch of the international stuff and is especially fond of the old Hispanic music her parents played when she was little.... So yea... pretty much everythingWhatcha got there?Looks like a new toy that you'll soon be rollin around just a hippin and a hoppin all through Idaho!
So long since I've done a car stereo install; have fun and let us know how it sounds and what you'll be blasting.![]()
Only thing that will take much time at all will be tearing everything apart to apply lots and lots of sound deadening. The components will not take long at all.If it lasts longer than 4 hours, you should see a doctor. Seriously though, having a kick ass system is worth it all- hope it goes smoothly!
That is a feature of the M0bridge integration with the Ford A2B... The Morel engineers took advantage of it or so I read.Oh wow, this is the first I've heard of anyone using this feature. Wonder how it integrates to do that?
Yes I think the sound deadening is essential, even with the top off... More than anything it is to deaden any sympathetic harmonics that panels and plastics can create. Thanks for this thorough explanation!
Do you think sound deadening is absolutely essentially? I like to to have the top off whenever possible in spring/summer/fall, so wondering if it would be worth the effort.
Good luck with the install!
You really want those bears in Canada to hear you coming, huh? lolIt is expensive.... I had to choke the price down.... Depends on how good a deal you can make with your local Morel dealer. You can find the closest to you at this site https://www.morelhifi.com/en/dealers
