I am trying to shoot for doing this next trip on February 25th (Saturday) for all who want to attend.
If we end up having a large turn out I'd like to break into groups of 5 vehicles so there is less of a mess on the trail trying to keep moving. In my experience more than that becomes a nightmare at obstacles. I plan to run moderate and single diamond trails if possible (weather can be a factor here).
I had several people post they'd like to attend from the pictures I posted from my solo run an the beginning of this month.

Hmm I might be interested, we were thinking of coming down to run some of the KAT and DBBB that weekend but a Windrock detour sounds enticing 😂

I am interested. I put it on my calendar. I am not new to 4 wheeling, but I am only running a stock Bronco. Just let me know what I need to bring.

I suggest a 33" minimum tire on a 2 door and 35" minimum on 4 door: tow points a recovery strap D rings and hilift or a winch. i believe it is strongly advised to have steel skid plates especially if you have less clearance. i do believe with the steering weaknesses that are documented we need to stay away from the skinny pedal till the HOSS 3.0 becomes more widely available. I do think locked rear for a minimum requirement as well just to stay away from the skinny pedal.

Hum I have 32 inch tires on stock rims, (only 400 miles on my Bronco, I have GY Durtrac's I just bought) no skid plates. I have a winch on a 2 inch trailer plate also a high lift jack. I have the locking rear, as for tow points I will grab some. I guess it means I am stuck with the beginner trails.

Did a short trial through Windrock last year. Have added a small 1" lift and under-armour. I am hoping to be free to join! Have a winch to help out where needed.

The more the merrier! I hope to hammer out some details next week, if everyone could please post how early you can make it to the campground. I have a 2.5-hour drive and work second shift, so I'll see what is doable for me and mine.

I’d like to do this but I’m 7 hours away. I’m hoping during the Tenn supercell event we can get a guide and take 5-6 of us to some challenging stuff.

Just wondering do you run a regular CB or the newer GMRS radio for these trips. Or are they not needed.

I have not mounted a cb (I have 3 on the shelf). I'll post a link to the hand held GMRS that I'm running. Walmart had it in stock. It was less than 80 bucks for the set (me and s spotter).
