So just two weeks into ownership of my Bronco I broke the Soft Top!

The Broncos been great, from wading into the gulf extracting a Waverunner, to hauling luggage and passengers to and from the airport with ease, and swallowing a flatbed full Sam's club items it's cavernous cargo area!

In exchange for it's fantastic abilities and service I give my bronco a big thank you by smashing my soft top into my garage wall. I probably would have been better off had the bronco been safely held at the Michigan Assembly plant!

I wonder if there's a part number for just the composite panel at the hardware screws into?

Sorry for your loss, take the money and run! Short term, while waiting on insurance scam, eh money, try to band aid top with this stuff. I have had good luck with it.
It still has the Temp tag, I can't bring myself to glue it yet!

I'm always a glass half full guy, but this is on me being careless so it does burn a little bit.
I'd rather break the top than wrinkle a body panel.....stuff happens, don't sweat it.

Good perspective, but at least a body panel will have its own part number for, not sure this does?

Damn that sucks. In 8yrs of owning a jeep, I've never once managed to do that. But then again, Jeep (Bestop) actually makes their soft top to not stick up so high when flipped back or completely folded back for that matter unlike Ford's version.

And people told me there wouldn't be a market for an oem soft top takeoff after mine arrives and I switch to bestop lol.

Damn that sucks. Lesson learned I guess. This is one reason why I won't drive to work with the top down since the parking garage would probably take my top right off going into it

That was my fear of having the Sunrider top open when entering the garage and smashing it. That really sucks.

Well after this happened and my head wasn't in the right space, while trimming the trees still thinking about my broken Bronco, I trimmed the last of the limbs that could have posed a risk to my mom's house and leaned too far out ladder slid, I slide, broke my foot. So it did get worse.
Dang, when it rains it pours sometimes. Sorry for all your misfortunes.. the Bronco and your foot will be mended in no time. I sure hope so for ya at least. Take care 👍
