Got my first jeep wave yesterday. I waved back. Bright green lifted rubi.

Not gonna lie. I liked it.

Iā€™m from west Texas. Iā€™ve been doing the ā€œjeep waveā€ to every car I see on the highway my whole life regardless of vehicle I was in šŸ˜‚

I will throw a Shaka to fellow Broncos when I get mine, If I get one back cool if not I'll just keep on motoring the same way some bikers don't wave back :cool:šŸ¤™

Did the other Bronco owner flip you off in response? :ROFLMAO:

I think I'd likely wave, or maybe a head nod, to a passing Bronco. You're part of an exclusive club... Maybe we should have membership cards we quickly flash at people as we drive by?? :ROFLMAO:

I think the Bronco wave has been around for longer than the Jeep wave.

I've been doing it in my GEN 1 for over 20years

Same here. I always wave to other Gen1's. I waved a Gen1 while I was in my Gen6 the other day. The guy was a little confused until he noticed the Gen6 and then got the normal smile and wave going. Personally, I'll wave to Gen1's and Gen6's (until there are so many Gen6's on the road that it's annoying), but that's just me.

Itā€™s like the motorcycle wave. Not brand specific. Itā€™s Just that up until now Jeep was the only player in the Modular off-road market.

As a Jeep driver for the last decade, it's so much an ingrained habit that I catch myself doing the Jeep wave even if I'm in a rental sedan or my wife's crossover, or even on a bicycle. It takes time to learn a habit and longer to unlearn one.
