Me too...Rubicon 392. Feel like I cheated on my Bronco...but Ford cheated first. Lol

Any with a reservation date after 9/17/20 were never getting a 21MY Bronco. For 21MY Bronco only reservation dates between 7/13/20 thru 9/17/20 that were converted to orders from 01/19/21 thru 03/19/21 were selected for builds.

I actually looked a few jeeps yesterday they have so many on the lots and almost liked it. My reservation date is 9/28/20 first order 10/22/20 second order 1/22/21 still nothing.

A red Jeep parked beside my car at work all day today. I turned my head to look it up and down multiple times.

I couldn't wait any longer. I found an 05 LJ Wrangler Unlimited 2 door with only 53k and a 6speed manual. The top was never dropped from new. $12k,. Might have to keep it and the Bronco if it ever gets built.

Also your reservation of 9/28/20 is after the 21MY cutoff date of 9/17/20. You were never getting a 21MY Bronco unfortunately.

FE were told they were getting a 2020 to start with. I sat in a 2020 Bronco

Hardcore off-roading isn’t for everyone. IFS is fine for a lot of different off road situations and is much better than the Jeep on the street, that’s why I’m getting one.

I appreciate ford dicking me around for 480 days. I’m sure jeep appreciates it more and only made me wait 170 days for my 392XR.

It’ll be interesting to see the resale value on the 392s in about 8 years. I’m guessing they’re going to hold there value extremely well. I’d trade my Badlands in on one in a second if I could swing that extra $30k! In the meantime, enjoy that beast

I wouldnt classify a very small percentage of engines and the other things as widespread reliability issues not enough to make a blanket statement that the Bronco is not reliable. That’s a bit dramatic.

Well considering you are not mentioning the other 32 pages of issues related to a vehicle that, for all intents and purposes, has been in production for only one year and that the population for engine breakdowns in the post are limited to:
1. owners that are members of the forum
2. Broncos that have been produced
3. Broncos that have the 2.7 option
4. Owners that feel confident enough to post the engine failure
5. Broncos that the engine has already failed

If you were to extrapolate the above to the complete population not limited by these factors, it would be a scary number and ignoring this, well, that's a bit of a narrow view...

I am not bashing the vehicle or the company, I have one on order and have talked to my dealer to let me know when I am allowed to order a Ford Lightning.
The teething problems are somewhat expected for a first year model of a vehicle that is new to Ford as they stopped building a convertible off roader decades ago, but facts are facts and it doesn't do anyone a favor to ignore them.

I briefly looked at a Rubicon all optioned out but I hate the fender lights I think its ugly and I really hate buttons on the back of my steering wheel. Had a rental a few yeads bacl that was a low-end wrangle and was very angry when I went around a corner and accidentally hit one of those backside buttons. Was jamming out to some Pearl Jam on a local radio station the all of a sudden Im listening to All Things Considered or something on NPR. Instant deal breaker when i saw the new models still had them.

If I couldn't have a Bronco, BRaptor, or Ranger Raptor; I would be seriously considering a Wrangler Rubicon, 392 Wrangler, TRX, or F-150 Raptor.

Nothing to feel bad about... Hell, I almost considered a Land Rover.

Yep, that was a great deal on that Wrangler, especially in this market.

It was $9k more than my FE, thanks to Chapman. It stickered for $82000 they sold it to me for $71000, it was the deal they were running at the time. That specific jeep in Snazzberry pearl with the XR package is a 1/76 built for 2021 1/6435 392s for 2021. I suspect it will hold its value extremely well, unless gas goes to $10 a gallon which it could. It’s a blast to drive but whenever we go on road trips the bronco is what goes, it handles better, a lot more comfortable, way better fuel mileage.
