I feel dumb, what are the colors representing in the service manual.

I downloaded a Shop manual. What are all the different colors mean on the different pages?

No problem. In the actual workshop manual there is a link under the colors that directs you to the “about this manual” section where it explains everything.
Judging by your screen shot it appears the pages you have aren’t formatted correctly and some links are missing
If you have access to individual sections you can find it under section 100-00 in general information, description and operation.
