Ok, a bit confused... Your title says South Bay and sounds like you are not happy with communication from your dealer but you don't say which and your profile says you are from Los Angeles.

So I don't know if this help but in California, at least from this boards perspective, there are only 2 dealers that have been on the up and up.

Kerney Mesa in San Diego area, and Serramonte in the SF Bay area. Both initially offered invoice type deals, But those are over, however they seem to be very transparent and not trying to pull anything shady or back pedal what they said.

Although neither is as communicative as Granger is, both I believe respond extremely well if you reach out to them.

Did not know that. Thought there was only one Bay area in Cali !

Yeah it would be nice to have communication from the dealer's, but they got nothing to say we don't already know.

Of course that doesn't help all the average consumers that are not part of this forum and don't hear anything.

Maybe they have up and that's why I moved up 200 spots in my dealer allocation ;)

Good luck.

I thought the same thing when I saw "South Bay" - was thinking San Jose area. Unfortunately, Serramonte is no longer active here on B6G (but is on the 'other' Bronco forum) due to the fact that they couldn't participate on the forum unless they wanted to pay for the ability to use the forum - which in my opinion is pure BS. There are only a handful of dealers who really stepped up to serve us as buyers, and Serramonte was one of them (along with Granger, Sewell and a couple others).. they are good for our community and this board, but now aren't here.. so this means I'm now spending more time on the other forum so I can continue to get updates from my dealer.

I don't have experience with Southbay Ford, but Villa Ford in Orange has been very upfront with communication. I am a very late reservation/order, as I was going to wait a year or so to let the hype die down. Reserved last month, and got converted to an order at the beginning of this month. They told me to expect Feb or March of next year for delivery. I am ok with that.

I walked into my dealer after not hearing a word from them and asked what was going on. The were upfront and said they weren't prepared to deal with all the calls and questions but in a week or two they were going to bring in a specialist to take orders and deal with all things Bronco. That seemed to last until all the orders were placed and the deposits made. The specialist has been pretty upfront about not bring at the dealership that much anymore although he said he was going to be back in on a part time basis. I can't help but think Ford may have gotten some complaints and forced the dealer's hand requiring they have a Bronco specialist. I take partial responsibility because I figured that I wasn't getting a discount so I'd support the local dealership. I even brought my F150 in for some over priced but needed service. It's been a work truck and older so I usually have it serviced by my local mechanic. Oh well, we all know where nice guys finish. I've communicated with the GM at the dealership but all he said was:

"We understand your frustration as we are frustrated as well. We at the dealer level have no control on factory builds and or delays. We will pass along your email so that you are heard by Ford. You can also reach out to Bronco HQ to voice your frustrations directly. We are awaiting details from Ford, once we are made fully aware of the situation we will be reaching out to you. We will send out a bulk email next week to all of our Bronco customers on what we know and what our plans are to managing it."

Of course everything he sent I had already read on Bronco6G.

Shame... shame... shame...
Ford Bronco how is your dealer communication? Capture.JPG
I know we didn't have to pay to join, and I could see charging vendors a reasonable yearly fee...

But hey @B6G, these dealers saved us thousands of dollars on our Broncos AND gave us braking news like @granger ...

WTF?

Yup, pretty crappy form. There are seriously only a handful of dealers who were willing to come here and spend time and effort to keep up updated as much as possible, offer us discounts on our broncos beyond what they needed to, etc - and the powers that be decided they wanted MORE out of them... and chased some of them off. talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
