Back from the dead. Glad we still have you. How’s that work exactly? Asking for a friend.

Ya know I often wonder about those that have passed before us. Memorial thread of the banned?? What was the post sunk them and made them capitalized BANNED? I search, but never know. God bless B6G!!
It always shocks me to run across a popular member that was just banned. I've checked their post history a few times but the offending content has always been purged. We've lost some good people.

A Build Week and Vin doesn't really mean jack shit either

Look at my signature line as well as a few others.
Tell me about it. It's no longer in my sig, but I got my VIN in April, June build date, bounced half dozen times, finally blending in August, banished to Dirt Mountain, and finally "built" 1/7. I'll get it a solid 6 months later than I should have.

I’m a 7/14 res…still waiting. A ford rep yesterday told me the “good news” is the hard top is resolved…… I dont believe her. I’m more and more tempted to go 4 door for the soft top. I’m waiting til March to decide. Hopefully I’ll get a date in the meantime.
I wanted dual top from the beginning. The open air feel in the spring/summer just can't be beat. When we go to see my wife's family in Tahoe, a hard top will be more practical. I figured I could live with a soft top for a season.

I know I am going to have to pay more for a mic or aftermarket top, but I would rather wait to ensure a quality hard top option. I don't know what weather is like in your area, but I would recommend the switch.

Curious how many day 1 reservation holders still have not even gotten a VIN/build date? Anyone have a sense of that?

I live outside of Chicago. I’ve had a Jeep wrangler with a soft top. It wasn’t terrible but I really wanted the hard top this time around. And I really only have my heart set on a 2 door. I don’t need the 4 door and it doesn’t give me the same vibe as a 2 door. I wish the 2 door came with a soft top option. Ugh 😣. I’ll wait it out a little longer. I have a new car so the bronco is not a necessity. Just a midlife crisis! Lol.

i hope this bronco shows up tomorrow. just like I hope mine, alledgedly built 11/11, is delivered. Where has it been for two months?

although My attempt at sarcasm fell short, you nailed my point. Very little in this process makes sense.
maybe it was shipped and your dealer did not tell you and sold it .

I live on Long Island with shitty winter weather and no garage. Can’t use a soft top. I’ll wait.
I live in the desert and have too much crap in my garage! Funny how two totally different circumstances lead to the same decision.🤣🤣

This may be the most obnoxious thread in the history of B6G.. and that’s saying a lot.
But as long as its entirely "apolitical" it will go on forever!

Just so everyone understands. I was not trying to be a dick. I was simply trying to point out the ridiculousness of the Ford ordering system.

Also, I was trying to point out that the other constraints don't seem to matter by comparison.
Some of us appreciate the info :) Although I ordered a soft top June of last year and my build date is next week lol. So interesting how they prioritize everything. Congrats on your Bronco!

My 4 door MIC LUX Wildtrak was built 11/23 and has been in shipping since. I still have not recieved it, since it is a 21 I wonder if there are any rebates since the 22's are out...LOL

I've been trying to figure this out for a few weeks. What portion of the Lux package is commodity-choked? The larger screen? The heated steering wheel components?

That I'm not sure. The High package also has the 12" screen but they do not appear to be held up as much as the Lux package. It could be the 360 camera view or any of the other options that separate the lux from the high package.

High has 360 cams and large screen. It's been mentioned in the past that it's the adaptive cruise control module / sensors.

Don’t feel bad, did the same thing last week. Dealer said May is likely, maybe before.
