I went the other way. WT over OBX. Switches, Baja mode, black wheels and emblem. If the digicam bothers me too much, I'll buy seat covers lol

I decided I’m going to drive this car for a long long time. Plus re sale.

I went with blue on blue (navy/amb) but that roast on black looks really good.

Worked out great! I picked up that Wildtrak (order) up this morning. My neck, back, and knees all made noises early this morning that you generally don't hear unless a tree is falling, changed from my beloved manual BL to a loaded WT (including mod roof as Ford intended). Essentially a mini-blackout package over Velocity Blue. The extra $5k knocks me over my mental threshold of spending, but the wallet can support it, unlike my knees which might be done with a manual when I get rid of my WRX in the next few years

I've found that trim make a difference on resale, packages not so much.

So IMO, a built up OBX won't be worth as much as a WT even if they are "equal"

You might be right. All these models are pretty much the same though. Badlands with LUX and Sasquatch has superior capabilities for off-roading and over all car. Outer Banks with Lux and Sasquatch more appealing overall vehicle specifically on interior. Sandstone is just painful on Wildtrak, I couldn’t pay that much for that bland dash etc.

I did the same thing. If I want leather down tge road....the aftermarket will be where I end up.

Update: I didn’t like the actual roast leather pics so switched to Badlands Black Leather to avoid sandstone and roast for the safe pick.

I went with the Wildtrak as well. Dealer felt I had a better chance of MY21 with Wildtrak vs Black Diamond with SAS
