I'm not a fan of the body lines on the forester, but I would do that in a second to an Outback or Ascent.

I think the concept of the "battle wagon" is just cheesey. Its the offroad version of those cars with tilty wheels. Some people think theyre cool but everyone else is going "why?".

My vote against the Forester would be for the CVT.


... how bout Base + (insert desired amount lift here)" lift + 17's and what ever aspect ratio you want for the tires = more ground clearance; something I would look into before or when the stock tires are done (I'll be cool with just replacing the 16's with a better wheel/tire combo).

Subaru must be a northern/NW/Snow driving thing. It sure ain't a Texas thing. To me a Subaru is a car you buy because you just don't care what you drive. No throwing chairs!!! I just think they are boing as hell. They are safe........so you have that one thing going for ya.

Fair assessment. I mean, an Audi Q7 is basically a slightly sleeker Subaru Legacy GT
