lol, Home depot "run". Damn phone cut me off. The owners kid was driving it and said it's going to get restored soon.
Oh man, now the jokes don’t make sense.

That's funny- I just saw a 66 Bronco- one of the extremely rare bare bones base with no doors and just the cut outs in a Lowe's parking lot. It was that aqua blue color. Mint restoration, 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree. I looked at it must have been like 5 minutes at least.

Love those old Broncos so much. I noticed in the picture how much smaller the Gen 1 Bronco is that the current Gen. I wish they had made the new Bronco the same size as the the first Gen. It would have been lighter, more nimble and better performing with better MPG? I always thought they were the perfect size- back in the 70's when I had two of them and still so today. The gas mileage (and or high prices of gas) still terrifies me and will more than likely prevent me from keeping my Basesquatch.

Back in the day when I did own two of them in the 70's, I never once had an issue with gas mileage. I drove all over the place, 4 wheeling, touring, exploring, going fishing, etc. Geez I never even checked it. 302 V8, Holley 4 barrel, edlebrock manifold, headers..... Granted I was a young engineer making a lot of money back then and gas was like .99 a gallon. But today my income has plummeted and gas is 4X what it was back then.....Geez those really were the good ole days in my opinion!
