I submitted my order to my dealer but the confirmation I got from Ford was for a different Model?

So I ordered my 4 door Black Diamond this week, but when I got my order confirmation from Ford it was for a Big Bend. I contacted my dealer and they said don't worry all is fine. but I don't know why my order would show different. has this happened to anyone else?

Could be fine, but could be a sneaky dealer trying to get in a quick allocation as Big Bends are expected to have the least delays; mostly speculative, of course.

Edit: Oh, it's definitely happened to others. Try a few more searches or call Ford.

I had originally reserved a BB and ended up ordering a BD. When I log in it showed BB some days and some days it shows BD, I think they are constantly tweaking that interface. I got confirmation email day of order with right number and BD like I discussed with dealer. I think you do have to unfortunately take the dealer at their word in this case or else call Ford to confirm. I’ve been satisfied to chalk it up to technology issues with the Ford site.

Just ask for a copy of your build sheet.

My original order was a BD, but changed to a BL, still shows BD after weeks, updated build sheet is correct it is just the MyFord site does not update build changes.

I did log into the ford website and it does show the right order so hopefully all is well

My dealer gave me a copy of the build sheet. Ask for the build sheet for yours.
