I was kicked to reorder for MY'22 and now I have a Nov 15th build. WTH?

I got the “kicked to MY22” email as well and then got my email today. Pretty excited! Hoping the fat guy brings me my Bronco for Christmas!

I was getting excited about the green ... but I will take my21 with gladness ... I am just shocked ...

I must confess that I was somewhat looking forward to getting a '22 with Green Paint but I'm more excited that I still get my Rare RAPID RED....hopefully they can cover all the panels with the last few cans in stock.

They can borrow a few cans from the Maverick assembly plant.

So the last email from Ford was to tell me I was kicked to MY'22 and to reorder in October.
Now I get this :
looks like I'll get the last drops of Rapid Red Paint.....
I'm not sure how to feel now,
what are the ramifications of a MY21 vehicle being delivered in almost 2022??
To me its just a number.
Anyway, happy to hear something positive for once .!!!!

You just won the lottery, a first year 2d in rapidly dropped red!! A Badland too. There will be a few 100s of those. You have an instant classic

'21 - '22 it wouldn't make any difference to me. No body will know but you, and if you decide to sell it soon nobody will care about that either. I'd take it home, and be happy happy happy. Congratulations.

Wow, I guess they’re on a roll! I was trying to self-push back…I’m actually kinda happy and kinda annoyed bc I was planning on making a couple of changes, and also getting a MY22 to give me time to pay off my current Explorer.
My sales guy actually suggested I throw it on eBay and reorder a ‘22. I joked that I’m definitely not doing that, but if I did I wouldn’t tell the dealership after the shenanigans I’ve heard of on the forum.

you get your first choice in colors! that is a win.

If you want the green, have your dealer change it to a code 99 if possible. I understand it is too late to change anything on the 2021 orders, so a 99 until 2022 banks open up is really your only shot I think. (if you could change it, you could add a Mod top and that would stop the build)

I'm very curious what the last build week will be for MY'21 ?

Secondly, I'm curious what the color choices will be for '23/'24. I may sell my RARE-RAPID-RED and upgrade to a colored hard top by then.
