A big piece of that is due to cost. In mass-produced vehicles, every penny matters to the manufacturer. The other piece of this is that this is a preventative maintenance item that increases the longevity of the engine. If the powertrain warranty is 5-year/60,000 miles, a manufacturer isn't necessarily going to care what's going on inside of the engine past that point. This system isn't going to save your engine from failure in the first 10,000 miles. But it absolutely can help keep that engine happy down the road once you have 60,80,100K miles and are well outside of the warranty period. Many of the higher end manufacturers already do include Air/Oil Seperator systems on their vehicles in some way. Porsche, BMW, VW, Audi, etc to name a few. These systems are great for someone who is planning on keeping their vehicles (Bronco or otherwise) for many years as well as doing other modifications that increase the performance and therefore the negative effects of DIT and turbo engines past their factory level.

Understood & appreciated! My 911 Turbo has an AOS from the factory and that’s what prompted my inquiry why it wasn’t simply included on the Raptor. I will PM with my email - happy to provide feedback & include on my ride!

AS other have said, it may have been cost. My GT500 came with a AOS system, so Ford does it, not sure why they did not do it for the Bronco. I feel Ford knows the aftermarket will step in to fulfill a need, so I believe they leave these things on the table for the aftermarket to get their share.

Not sure on the warranty, I would think not, but it you never know with some dealers.

As for the installation, no it is not difficult, the routing of the hoses took the most time. Also, there was an orientation discrepancy from the instructions to the hands-on install, but that was pointed out and should no longer be an issue.

Adding aftermarket components can not void a warranty simply by being installed. With that said, a dealer can absolutely deny warranty work for any reason they want and it's up to the individual dealer.
